Made by Lorraine and based on a F Ruggieri cello of 1694 which spent a while in the workshop for restoration.

The back and ribs of poplar like the original, head is grafted wild cherry. Very warm and rich amber oil varnish.

Several very successful copies of this model have left the workshop over the years. Very warm yet powerful tone. Ideal instrument to play Bach cello suites, solo or quartet work!
